Things that happened:
- Extremely gruelling experience at the self-proclaimed World's Biggest Collegiate Hackathon, CalHacks 3.0 at UC Berkeley. Sleeping for minutes on cold, hard, solid floors beside toilets, passing out on the desk at odd hours like 11am and 2pm, lining up behind literally thousands of people for basic meals. And best of all, not knowing a single useful programming language while being surrounded by hypercompetent teammates who learn at light speed. Had to learn HTML/CSS on Codecademy while everyone else did their stuff on APIs, AJAX and whatever. Didn't end up contributing a single line of code (HTML or otherwise) to our final product. Really humbling experience -- hope I never step foot in a hackathon again. - Tons more experience with C++: by now I've programmed image editing functions like rotate/blur/negative filter, an ASCII maze solver, and a program that gives a normal distribution of how many squares of toilet paper will be left at the end of a day! Woooo. Currently working on building a rudimentary social network system, and it's hard as hell.
- This:

wahahahahahahahahahaha
There's not a single functional joint modeled onto this thing right now, but otherwise I'm extremely satisfied with how it turned out -- pretty much exactly as I envisioned. Side note, Maya is a complete tool with extrusions, I probably spent thrice the time merging duplicate vertices than actual modeling. And now to finish this bloody social network assignment...and also make sense of my Calc II material (Radius of Convergence?? Taylor's Series??? Parametric equations?????)
