Months of staring at plain white Terminal font against solid blue backgrounds can turn you a little kooky. White clouds in the night sky. Termites on a deep blue sea. Blueberry pies and cream. Yeahhh.
So -- I decided to treat myself a little. Introducing Blender! Apparently it's THE software for 3D modeling noobs, and so far I can see why -- check out these babies, all made in the span of 2(ish) days!

It also helps that there's this really great Blender tutorial series on Youtube -- clear, meticulous, doesn't miss a single step throughout. And yeah the above 3 works are stolen straight from the tutorials I just changed the colors :/ Soon.
Next up, I also discovered this extremely thorough guide to Blender on Wikibooks called Blender 3D: Noob to Pro that doesn't just spoonfeed you 3D models, but also teaches graphics concepts from the ground up! Suddenly getting flashbacks of pre-IB math class -- translation, rotation, scaling, it's been a while fellas. Wonder when I'll get to vectors and matrices?
